Moto G72 renders and specs:
Moto has confirmed that Moto G72 will launch in India in October. After its Indian launch, we can confirm that same phone will also launch soon in Europe and global markets. Now let us look at the specs of the device in detail. Starting from the front, the Moto G72 will boast a 6.5-inch pOLED panel with 1080 × 2400 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 576Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR10 support. An in-display fingerprint scanner will be present beneath the panel for unlocking the phone. It also is said to be the first phone to use a 10-bit display in its respective price segment. Moto G72 will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 processor, with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage. On software side, the handset will a near stock Android 12 OS paired with Motorola’s own ThinkShield security features. For photography, the handset will feature a triple camera setup at the rear and a single shooter on the front. At the back, the device will use a 108MP Main lens, 8MP Ultra-Wide lens and a 2MP Depth sensor. For selfies, it will get a 16MP single lens placed inside the punch-hole cutout. A 5000mAh battery will keep the phone pumping, which can be topped up with 33W fast charging. The phone will get Stereo speakers setup with Dolby Atmos for an enhanced audio experience. Connectivity options include support for Dual SIM, MicroSD card, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and NFC. Lastly the phone will measure 160.5 x 74.4 x 7.9 mm in dimensions and 160g in weight. Moto G72 will be available in Blue and Grey colors. Its 6GB + 128GB variant is expected to cost between INR 15,000 – INR 20,000 in India, and EUR 250 – EUR 300 in Europe.
